Medical Business Office Professionals work in the business office of a healthcare facility: physician's offices, hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and other healthcare settings. 

If you enjoy working with people, have good organizational skills, and are interested in the medical field, this career is for you!

In this course, you will learn:
Medical Terminology
Medical Administrative Support
Medical Billing
Electronic Medical Record Fundamentals

Course Fee:
$100, paid to the Literacy Council upon registration
$21 online background check fee

Have basic keyboarding & computer skills
Pass a basic skills entrance test (reading, writing, math)
Pass an online background check
Maintain attendance throughout course (3 allowed absences)
U.S. High School Diploma, GED, or international credentials*
