The Literacy Council of Fort Bend County will close on Friday, September 19, 2014 at 1:00 p.m.  Regular office and Learning Center hours will resume on Monday, September 22, 2014.

Monday through Thursday: 8:30 am - 9:00 pm
Friday: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

Tutor Training

Interested in becoming a tutor?  It's easy.  We could not provide the services we provide, each year, to over 1,700 Fort Bend County residents without our volunteer tutors.  WE NEED YOU!  For more information on the next tutor training session, please contact Natasha Schiller at 281-240-6411 or  

Stop by the Literacy Council to donate books and restock your bookshelves.  Please note that we do not accept any religious materials, school textbooks, dictionaries or encyclopedias.
