Alumni Social
Reconnect with fellow Literacy Council alumni at our Alumni Social! Share experiences, network, and celebrate achievements at the Emily Court main office. Enjoy conversation, refreshments, and community as we honor your journey and success. Email your RSVP to Kai McGhee.
GED Orientation
This orientation is for future GED students to understand the full journey towards completion. By the end of the session, participants will:
Understand the enrollment process for in-person, hybrid, and online-only classes
Navigate the GED.com dashboard
Set personal testing goals using GED.com tools
Understand how to schedule a GED test and find local testing centers
Attendees must be at least 18 years or older. Children are not allowed onsite unless accompanied by another adult. Parking around free onsite and on designated street areas. Do not park in front of fire zones and fire hydrants.

Coffee & Conversation
Coffee & Conversation is a relaxed conversation hour open to all students and all learner levels. Practice everyday English, build confidence, and connect with others in a welcoming space. Bring your questions, ideas, and enjoy learning together!

Fort Bend Citizenship Day Celebration
Join us on September 17, 2025, to mark this milestone or to learn more about your next steps. Guest speakers and legal aid will be onsite. Refreshments available. RSVP with Kai McGhee at kai@ftbendliteracy.org or by phone 281-240-8181.
